Construction

Each vase is turned from a single block of paulownia on a CNC lathe for consistent profile across production runs. The ribbed texture is achieved by varying the cutting depth during turning — deeper cuts create the grooves, shallower cuts create the raised bands. This is a single-piece construction, no glued sections, no seams.

Available in three standard heights: 20cm, 25cm, and 30cm. Diameter varies with height — roughly 8–10cm at the widest point on the 25cm version. Custom dimensions available.

Finish options

Standard finishes: natural (clear matte coat), whitewash (thinned white paint that lets the grain show through), dark walnut stain, and matte black. The retro look on the standard version comes from a dark stain applied in thin coats, then lightly sanded back on the raised ribs to create a worn highlight effect. Custom colors matched to any Pantone.

Use and limitations

These are decorative vases for dried flowers, branches, and standalone display. They are not watertight — do not fill with water for fresh flowers. For fresh flower use, we recommend a glass or plastic liner inserted into the vase interior. We can supply liners sized to the vase opening if needed.

Customization and ordering

Height, diameter, rib pattern (spacing and depth), wood species (paulownia or pine), and finish are all custom per order. MOQ 200 pieces for custom dimensions or colors. Standard designs can be ordered from 100 pieces. Lead time 15–20 days. Samples: 5–7 days for a standard finish sample, 10 days for custom color matching.

• Can these hold water for fresh flowers?
  Not directly. The wood is not sealed for water immersion. Use a glass or plastic liner if you need fresh flower capability. We can supply liners.
• What wood is used?
  Paulownia — it's about 40% lighter than pine, turns cleanly on the lathe, and takes stain evenly. Pine is available as an alternative at a slightly lower cost but adds about 30% to the shipping weight.
• Can I get a different shape?
  Yes. Send a dimensioned sketch or reference image. Any lathe-turned profile is feasible — smooth, ribbed, tapered, bell-shaped, etc.
• How are they packaged for export?
  Each vase wrapped in foam sheet or bubble wrap, then packed into individual boxes or shared master cartons with corrugated dividers. Custom retail packaging (gift boxes with foam inserts) available.
