Dimensions: Standard is 23×23×9 cm. Scale up for larger collections (30×30 cm) or down for compact boxes (18×18 cm). Compartment depth adjusts with box height — standard depth accommodates tea bags up to 8 cm tall.

Branding: Silk screen printing on the acrylic lid — most common for tea brands. Laser engraving on the painted exterior — removes paint to reveal lighter paulownia beneath, creating a natural-wood logo on a colored background. Hot stamping on lid or exterior.

Nine compartments in a 3×3 grid is a deliberately different format from our 6 and 8 compartment boxes. Six compartments covers the basics (English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green, Chamomile, Peppermint, Rooibos). Eight covers a premium selection. Nine covers a premium selection plus one — the extra compartment holds a seasonal variety, a honey stick, a tea infuser, or a sampler that drives engagement. The 3×3 grid reads as visually balanced and complete. For non-tea applications, nine compartments segment small items into more categories than a 6-grid can. The trade-off: each cell is smaller than in a 6-grid at the same box size. For oversized tea bags or bulky items, the 6-grid version is the better fit.

Pre-painted paulownia serves a different buyer than natural unfinished wood. The clear hinged lid shows all nine compartments, inviting the customer to open and explore. In retail, an opened box becomes a self-service display — the customer handles each tea bag, compares varieties, builds their own selection. The hinged lid stays open without being held. A lift-off lid box or sliding lid box serves one function or the other; the hinged clear lid serves both.
